NSS Townsville's newly commissioned Liebherr mobile harbour crane was put to work on the MV African Ibis, discharging urea for Ameropa.

The 440-tonne LHM550 crane was recently relocated from NSS’s Gladstone operations in the face of growing container traffic at Townsville.

Use of the LHM550 increased productivity for the MV African Ibis job, ensuring a smooth and constant of flow of urea was available to the tipping trucks delivering the cargo to Ameropa’s Townsville facilities.
