Mount Carlton underground project ahead of schedule
A combination of first production from the higher-grade underground mine at Mount Carlton and accessing higher-grade ore in the Mount Rawdon open pit, south-west of Bundaberg, is expected to boost the group’s production in the June quarter, owner Evolution Mining said.
A $60 million project is underway to extend mining operations at the Mount Carlton site to at least 2025, including development of the new underground mine and changes to the processing plant.

The mine produced 13,306oz of payable gold last quarter compared to 9787oz in the December quarter.
