‘Great progress’ for Tobruk pool redevelopment
“Workers are making great progress on this exciting redevelopment,” Cr Hill said.
“The toddler and learn-to-swim pools are now fully tiled and the 50m pool should be completed in the coming weeks.
“Installation of the pool filtration system is also in its final stages, with pressure testing of the pipework currently underway.
“They’re also installing the shade sails that will protect swimmers from the sun.”
The construction project is being undertaken by local contractor Jackson+Semler and is expected to have supported more than 120 jobs by its completion.
