Golden Cup shines for Great Northern Minerals
It is part of the Golden Ant group of projects the Perth-based company acquired in August, which also includes the former Camel Creek and Big Rush gold mines.
The JORC interim resource estimate announced this week for Golden Cup is 256,000 tonnes at 3.6g/tonne gold for about 30,000oz of contained gold.
Eagle Drilling has recently completed a further eight RC holes at the site and assay results from the first two include intersections of 7m at 7.49g/tonne old and 9m at 4.72g/tonne gold.
Great Northern Minerals aid the coming year would see a significant drill program with the aim of rapidly increasing the resources at the Golden Cup project.
