EOIs called for Shoalwater Bay upgrade works
Downer EDI and joint venture partner FKG Group have been appointed by the Department of Defence to deliver the work.
It includes improvements to support increased large-scale joint and multinational training activities, including airfield and beach landing site upgrades.
The project includes camp, access road and creek crossing upgrades, and the construction of a new Urban Operations Training Facility.
Construction is anticipated to commence by early 2020 and be completed by mid-2022, subject to Parliamentary approval.

Bulk earthworks, civil and pavements
Carpentry, ceiling and partitions, doors and windows
Concrete works and concrete panels
General site activity suppliers and subcontractors
Internal finishes and FF&E
Landscaping and fencing
Metalwork and structural steel
Painting and linemarking
Roofing and roof safety
