Junior miner Aeon Metals is in the process of extending its influence over a copper-cobalt play at Walford Creek, about 350km north of Mount Isa.

The company currently has leases following mineralisation over a 3-6km fault zone.

Aeon leases in Queensland including the Walford Creek play, north of Mount Isa.


The prospective area extends 130km, says managing director Hamish Collins.

Mr Collins is at Diggers and Dealers in Kalgoorlie where he told journalist Robert Dark in this interview about the company’s exploration applications over the area.
